Product Review: Tipke 2100 Marine Fold-It Utility Cart
Company: Amazon
Price Range: $200 - $250
Who Would Buy This: Those shopping for an ultra lightweight, fold-up utility cart which can transport up to 330 pounds.
Pros:
The cart is made from marine-grade aluminium which is both lightweight and rust resistant. Additionally, this makes the cart easy to clean with a quick hose down for easy maintenance.
Design-wise, this cart has been well thought out. Gear is put over the wheels to ensure the cart is well balanced and easy to move. The slim 20-inch pneumatic tires allow for smooth rolling over most terrains.
When unloaded, this utility cart weighs in at 33 pounds, so its light enough to lift up for transport without putting strain on your body.
The retractable handlebar uses a spring-action mechanism which allows you to lock the handlebar into position then spring it out when you fold out the cart for use.
Its foldable design makes the cart easy to pack away for storage. When folded, the cart takes up less than 2 sq feet of storage space, so it’s small enough to fit into a trunk without taking up all the space.
Cons:
Pneumatic tires. Since the tires are pneumatic you’ll need to inflate them every so often.
Guarantee: 2-year limited warranty.
